1. Shall I get a certificate with my purchase?

All our loose diamonds have international gemological certificates issued by GIA, IGI, HRD or other reputed labs. All other items purchased from emperesse.ae will be delivered to you along with a certificate of appraisal.

2. What are international certificates for loose diamonds?

All our solitaire diamond stones that is sold loose and fitted in jewelry come with certificates issued by international agencies such as GIA. The certifying agencies are the experts and they subject each stones to inspection and certify its characteristics such as 4Cs and other qualitative features. These characteristics influence the attraction and valuation of the stones critically and hence it is very important. Usually, certified stones comes in sealed pack, however, some certified stones also comes in loose packs, for example GIA. In such cases the certificate number is laser engraved on the stones by the certifying labs.

4. Do you have grading system of pearls and precious stones?

Currently there is no grading system in pearl jewellery worldwide. However our in-house Certificate of Appraisal comes with basic information about pearl. In case of precious stones, some expensive stones do have international certificates.

5. How competitive is the price at emperesse.ae?

At emperesse.ae we believe in ethical business practices and pass on the benefits to the end user. 8. Are you shipping internationally?

We ship to most countries but we do reserve the rights to decline transaction to certain countries due to regulatory restrictions. For more information mail to enquiry@emperesse.ae.

9. Is there any taxes or duties that is to be paid while purchasing products from emperesse.ae?

At emperesse.ae we do not charge any sales tax, VAT etc on the invoice. However, in case of international shipments different countries have different tax system, rates and method of changing duty. For further information about duty or tax applicability of any country click here.

10. How can I know status of my shipment?

You will get an email when the item is picked up by FedEx from our dispatch facility. This email will contain a tracking number with which you can track your shipment here.

11. Is product insured while being shipped?

The product are covered under insurance until it is delivered and received by customer.

14. Can I return or upgrade diamonds after 30 days?

All certified stones purchased from us can be exchanged and upgraded at any time provided that the returned item will be valued after applying a discount of 10% on the original sales price and the new items purchased is equal to or greater than the original sales price of the returning stone.
